To give you peace of mind that your reputation will not be compromised or that expensive damage will not arise due to our products we err on the side of caution.
We source our primary material almost exclusively from reputable European steel mills, which mill to length and are able to deliver the material with the relevant certification. The material is then checked by us before being cut into exactly calculated lengths and put into the preheating oven.
All flanges and rings are heat shaped, therefore strainless, so that no stress cracks can appear in the welded area. Whist still glowing hot, the ring is placed on the burn-off butt welding machine, where it is welded into itself without using any additional materials. Still glowing, the ring is then rounded and smoothened. The rings are placed on top of each other to cool or, depending on their intended use, given a special heat treatment.
When the rings have been cooled to normal surrounding temperature, they are processed to a level of precision, which until recently would have been unimaginable, on our CNC controlled production line. This precision also contributes to the drastic reduction of material supplements and production time, therefore also lowering the production costs.
Even if a ring has been produced to fitting standard according to the specifications this does not mean it is ready to leave our factory. To be able to guarantee our customer peace of mind that we have not overseen any defects, we subject every flange to an ultrasonic test.
